Once again the internet has mislead an idiot. This CL ad is for a 1988 Subaru GL wagon, with 194,000 miles, and the seller is asking 3000 Washingtions for it. and to justify their outrageous price demand that have included a picture of the NADA retail value. ugh

I actually did kinda do that with some one selling an 01 H6 LL Bean ed. Outback. It has 230k on it and looks kinda beat on the exterior. He claimed the book value was 5500(WHAT?), and is asking 3500. I sent him the KBB value which is like 2300, and told him if he'd consider 1700 for it I'd like to take it for a test drive.

I hate Craigslist. I pretty much just refuse to do business with it anymore. It gives you all the insight into yours and other people's dickish behavior that you never wanted to see.
